My 160GiG Seagate hdd unable to be detected after i ran chkdsk under window Xp.. i left it to run and i cannot access it after i came back.
i was backing data from it and having problems reading it, it lockup frequently while reading so i decided to run a error check and...now my pc cannot detect it under bios T.T
Can anyone please advise me on this? The drive still spins fine, no knocking sounds...just unable to detect by motherboard.

erm no one can advise this on this? Is there any software i can try?
