Hi to All!
I am in much need of the firmware of the hard disk
SEAGATE BARRACUDA 7200.8
400 Gbytes
Model: ST3400832A
Firmware: 3.02
Hard disk was working well, at that moment I was copying data of 100GB to this drive from another drive, and at 50% success computer gave me some error and after that PC hangs out. Now my 400GB hard disk is recognized by the PC in BIOS but PC can't boot to the desktop.I searched over the internet to find the solution of this problem and I realized that its a firmware related problem.
I have the SalvationDATA software and COM cable for writing the firmware.
So it would be a great help for me if someone can share the firmware for this hard disk.
Best Regards!

Did you ever get the firmware you are looking for? I have six of these drives that will not work on a system if they have 3.01 firmware, but function fine with 3.02. Seagate won't send me the firmware, and wants me to RMA the drives to get the firmware upgrade. This means I'll get someone's refurbished crap, when these are BRAND NEW.
