Aftter hot swapping the controller from a good hts548040m9at00 hitachi using mhdd what software can be used to copy data off drive? Or does firmware have to be repaired first. I tried atof in mhdd and can feel the heads move around then drive clicks once after a recal then copies bad sectors. Is there some way to copy stuff of with out doing a recal? thanks from any help.
