this hard disk is not spining even the power supply given.
anybody else to trace the PCB how frequently facing problem in Maxtor DiamondMax Plus 9 of 120GB.

Poss that it could be bad spin IC try PCB swap or spin IC replace

i think PCB error but IC Motor is Ok.error in another of PCB.

Try changing the pcb !

also check spring contacts for motor, sounds stupid but about 1/10 no -spin drives we get have no contact at motor pins
