hi,
I received a Samsung MP0804H.
pcb is ok.
The problem is when I turn on the computer there is a very quite sound as it try to spin but cannot.
can this be related to head?

Hi,
probably the head is stuck to the surface.
But this model has a problem with the PCB that it doesn't park the heads properly, that's why it is left on the surface, so U will have to change the PCB also to avoid this to happen when U parked the heads.

Take off the top to ensure the drive is spinning, also you can the check to see if the is any damage to the platters.
With Samsung HDD's sometimes the heads will not park correctley leaving them on the platter, then when you power up the HDD it will not spin. If this is the case gently move the heads WHILE turning the platters from the center hold down assembly. Do this while the drive IS powered up.
