Hello everybody,

As in Maxtor DSP-PROXIMA there's a documented selfscan , do someone know if applicable to CALYPSO series ?

Thanks and regards.

Yes I want to selfscan CALYPSO series ... I mean rebuild adaptive data and autoscan for bad sector / servo error as in Mx-740 and DSP series. Obviously all the data will be destroyed but this is not important, only want the drive to be re-usable again and "re-certified". I know there's a solution because a SELFSCAN is used at factory level before shipping (and btw the adaptive data is not practically flashed on each drive....) if don't want to share knowledge on open forum please PM me.
I am working on it.
