How do you store donors?

How do you guys store your donors? I have been using hard drive boxes that hold five drives. They don't stack very well. I need a better solution. Help me, the boxes cover my floor and I can't walk.

I thought of making shelves but I would rather buy something already made.

I bought a cabinet with drawers with appropriate height to fit HDD.
the whole thing is made of steel to be able to hold the weight of ~80-100 drives/drawer.

Shelves are very cheap and effecive. You can store drives by capacity, model, manufacturer or could create a booking system so donors can be easily found. There are lots of options but I think this is the simplest and shelves can be bought ready made and cheap.

the 'areal density' of the drawer is much higher, I can store ~500 drives in a 60x70x80 cm cabinet which would take much higher area of shelves.
Though I know it is probably more expensive.

Thanks for the suggestions. Drawers do seem like a good idea.

Someone elsewhere suggested mechanic's tool cabinets with drawers. They said the drawers are really strong to suppot the heavy tools. I'm trying to find some with drawers that are deep enough to hold hard drives.

How about the old classic and simplest way ? Simply put the drives on each other.
