samsung password protection

We have several samsung sata drives (Dell Optiplex) that were password locked by strangers. Can they be unlocked without this password if dataloss is no problem?

You can remove the password with A-FF Repair Station. You will need to set your SATA port to act as Secondary IDE and password is easily removed. A-FF will give you the instructions for this.

That's what i wanna do, is this a-ff repair station different from the pc 3000? We don't pretend to be a data recovery institute, so we might not need the extra's.
