Hi to all!
Please help!

My problem hdd HTS424040M9AT00.

The hdd cracks several times and do not manage to arm (servo), the mhdd also do not recognize it only display 0 in the first screen!

PCB?
HEAD?
FIRMWARE?

I THINK THAT SHE IS the bad HEAD

what will be the problem?

I have had many cases like this and the problem was NVRAM, but I dont fully understand the symptoms you described :?

Hdd makes some racket strange (sound) when binding and it does not recognize (he is not ready to read the record)

Hi Sempre ,
I Have Just The Same 2 HDD ,I Just Want To Replace One HDD From Manufacturer And The Second One i Want To Recover Data .The One From Which i Would Like To Recover Data Does Not Spin Up .But if I Change The PCB It With The Other HDD It Does Spin Up ,But The BIOS Does Not Recongnise That HDD Also i Think It Keeps on Clicking [ I Can Hear That ] .I Have Both ISA And PCI And Would Like To Know What All I Can Do With That
