HDD is alive and well but won't show up!

I've got a Seagate Barracuda 7200.7 (200GB) and it shows up fine in BIOS and in MHDD and the RAID BIOS config, but when i try to install windows on it or view it in another computer as a non-boot disc it doesn't exist! SEAtools told me the file system was corrupt. There is no data on this drive i care about. I would just like to wipe it clean and start completely new. How can i do this?

I just did a FASTERASE in MHDD. Does this mean it has erased everything including partition information and all that?

The windows installer still cannot detect the hard drives existance. Why is this?
