Hello !
I have a locked 120GB Maxtor Drive.
I do not have the password to unlock that drive and now i want to try to remove the password with a firmware.
I heard a lot that this would be succesfully.
i downloaded this firmware in the files section.
MAXTOR_CALIPSO_6Y120L0_YAR41BW0.zip
But how to install the firmware now? With which utility could i do that?
Thx.

Ok, the conclusion only then: "So, in short, if you want to mess around with the SA, you have 2 options: invest a lot of time and energy into learning or simply empty your pockets and buy a tool like PC3000".
(BTW, PC3000 costs well over $10,000)
*EDIT*, ah I just thought that that if you just want to remove the HDD's password, there's a much cheaper way to do this:
