It's possible to buy them in lots with many different spacing. Is the spacing similar for every head stack?

It's different for 2.5" and 3.5" drives.

Fine, but is it the same for drives within the same 2.5" or 3.5" form factor? I don't really care about the 2.5".

Does anyone know what mm of space between the arms (at the flexible part close to the heads) is necessary to prevent the heads from sticking when removed?
