I have been reading your wonderful forum and found lot of interesting information. I have repaired some hdds with your help but now i'm in trouble with two locked 2.5" laptop hdd... I decided to buy PC3000 and send some email to ACE Laboratory but they have not been answering for two weeks...

I have read there is utility called vtool (5.07 is the most recent version?) but can't find any working download links. (I know it's "for Samsungs internal use only"
I need also some master passwords. Is there any list available?
Can i wait PM from you?

Toshiba MK3021GAS, some old ibm and fujitsu drives (just for learning)
I have good knowledge about hacking GSM phones and modifying firmwares so this is my new hobby... :D

Try all spaces as master password.
PC3000 is too expensive for unlocking 2 drives.
A-FF tool would be cheaper. :)

Hello again! They answered my mail from ACElabs and PC3000 seems to be too expensive even i had 100 drives to unlock. :?

Now i'm working with IBM DTNA-22110 and Toshiba MK2103MAV. Any ideas?
I have IBM DDD-si tool, Vtools and all "normal tools" (MHDD, Victoria etc.)

Hot swap should help you.
The procedure is as follows:
1) set password on good drive.
2) do hot swap
3) reset password

Of course you should have good matching donor for hot swap. For hot swap procedure search forum.
