Raid 5 winhex error

February 28th, 2007, 12:42

Hi,

I'm trying to assemble a raid 5 array, and I've got all the parameters, drive order, stripe size, etc.
When I launch it, it detects a NTFS partition, but when I open it I've got error 202 and the software shuts down.
Does anyone knows why this happen and what's the cause of error 202?

Thanks.

Maybe 1 of the drives has bad sectors, so you should create separate images of each hard drive an then start winhex again.

I've already done that and got the same problem with original drives and with image files.

Have you tried Raid Reconstructor?

Just to 100% check you have settings and order correct?

Yes, I've tried Raid Reconstructor too, and I have the NTFS partition, but then a lot of files are damaged.
