I have used ebay to track down drives before but I was wondering if anyone is familiar with a company that stocks a decent selection of contoller boards or out of stock hard drives catering to the data recovery biz.

Hi,
There's a couple of Chinese companies doing PCB's for HDD's.
But never used them for boards so can't recommend them as such...
"pc3khrt.com"
"hddworldd.com"
I would too be interested in a good European supplier. Sometimes use Ultratecm but they are pretty expensive, especially if they know you need a specific revision.
