I have a WD drive wd1200bb 120 gb drive there were many bad sectors in the drive i did a erase but no effect i checked the firmware structure no problem then i did a head test by pc3k pci problem in head 2 then i switched off HEAD 2 then i restart drive then capacity didnot change nor did the badsectors i again did erase then bad sector was on 55000 lba after head switch off and erase then bad sector came on 66000 lba i just need to reuse the hdd please tell me what to do ?

If i am missing something in switching the heads please guide me because i just switched off the defective head and did nothing with it .
I have also heard that after switching the head the size changes is it true.

I just need to reuse the drive and the drive had 6 heads .

Thanks in advance .
