Respected Gurus
I have done some progress
Progress:
What it shows : After putting drive in safe mode (i have completed this part). When i run pc3000pci, in kernel it detects itself as Sabre58 and here is the log
Techno mode key:
Tech on................................. : Ok
ROM:
ROM reading............................. : Ok
Heads configuration..................... : by map
Heads number............................ : 2
Heads number in use..................... : 2
Switched off heads...................... : No

Now I am waiting for the correct firmware / rom although i have for WDC800JD-75LSA0. Should I go with it if I don't get any help.
Waiting for Help

Disk when power on starts to knock and then power goes off
In this case there is nothing to do with the firmware, but with everything else (pcb, heads, preamp).

darkfroce1,
Where you able to resolve the issue with the WD800JD-75LSA0? I replaced heads 3 times and even if you but the head back on the original donor it would not work... I think it has to do with the screw that is located on the top, it maintains the alignment of the heads, what did you find out on that?
