Question about Salvation data ?

April 3rd, 2007, 15:19

I am a little confused about the Salvation data software the trial version that is for Maxtor Athena .
The thing is that when u plug any hdd that is 2B0 in that software in safe
mode and when u press "Repair now" it loads the hdd with a loader and fix the damaged modules .

My question is that what kind of loader does it use is it some kind of universal
loader or what ?

because it loads all 2b0 with same loader and also the hdd got fix .

Thanks in advance

There're boot files embedded in the program, universal for all 2B0 series disks

I have but I can't offer. Just take a look at my signature, and I'm sure you will know why.

BTW, if you're customer of Maxtor Firmware Repairer PRO, I'm sure you'll get what you want, of course... :P

There're many differences between SalvationDATA products and PC3000, try to know more, and you'll get to know.

Anyway, customers who got both PC3000 and SalvationDATA is many many, believe it or not~~~
