Hi,

U can use other calypso PCBs for this model. Your bigger problem is that probably the preamp is burnt too since it receives the 5V directly and this line has probably failed that caused the ROM to burn too.
(However it is a bit odd, because it runs from 3.3V.)

pepe

Hello peter

The hard disk have a head sticktion the head its not on land zone, its near from the begin of the platter, so im think this was the cause wich burn the spindle controller and ROM.

Im going to try , solving this problem and getting another Donnor PCB, so ROM its not adpative right?

Best Regards

This is no Masked ROM inside Microcontroller, its external 8 pins

Forget about ROM.
Just find another PCB with the same CPU (Ardent C8-C1 for example) and see how it works.
