wd120 partions deleted by norton ghost and the drive become one drive what program i should use to recover data or partions?

overwritten or deleted ?

If deleted u can use Test disk good program for recovery of partitions .

some one was extracting ghost image of windows then he made a mistake by choosing restore to disk not partion so ghost make the hdd one partion then extract the windows on it talkes only about 3 gb from disk and the rest is empty so how to recover data in this case?

u mean 3 gb of the disk is overwritten if thats the case u should use Data extractor or Media Tools .

Hi,

If I knew the approximate sizes of the original partitions I would search for boot records in a hex editor and when I am sure I found the proper ones I would rebuild the partition table manually...
