Need Good Hard Drive Source - Please Help on a couple WD's

May 10th, 2007, 11:47

I am needing some decent sources for hard drives. I use TCB and Precomparts, but they either don't have what I need, or the prices are insane.

I'm looking for a couple of drives, and the drives must be in good working order as the heads are needed from them.

WD400BB-75CAA0 manufactured around March of 2002

WD1600BB-22DWA0 manufactured around August of 2003.

Thanks.

Have fun trying to locate the WD400BB-75CAA0. It's not a real common drive. I had a bitch of a time trying to locate one about a year ago. Final got it. I actually still have it in my stock. PM me if you have difficulty finding another one.

Thanks, yeah I had one a few months ago, and used to swap heads with it all the time. The heads finally gave out on it.

I got a WD400BB-75CAAO on my shelf too.

Used it once for heads, still works (mostly).
