May 10th, 2007, 13:36

Hello friends
I have a Samsung (laptop) disk MH0804H which was not detecting . I opened the disk and head was released. Disk detected ok and I stared to clone it. then after 45% of cloning done it again stopped and now it is giving mentioned below error in terminal. In current position head moves on platter knocks and back to latch and disk stops spinning. Need to recover data please advice me how to make it work again.

Sounds like the head has hit the patch where it got stuck before.

And damaged itself.

Need head swap IMHO.

And re-commence image from back, to the front.

Not really, if head is broke then it's broke, no s/w can fix this!
