Hi Jose any bads in SA? I have some diamond max9 with bads in RZTBL do the same thing

SA Surface verification has no errors
SA structure test All modules are ok except RZTBL-Hlist errors.

strange....hope someone know what is wrong

Did you try surface scan, add defects to P-list, regen translator, just in case someone has messed with drive before? I had similar errors before but they were for all maxtors (Techno command unexpected error, in this case was hardware related, I had to change motherboard to fix it)

Checking module 33, if you only need to repair HDD, do "clear all table" command after rewrite the module. SA structure test done with all modules OK not mean the code inside the modules is good. Open the module you want to check-select some line and do the "checksum" command.

hi guys....surface test for physical test failed in certain CHS (errors in AMN).

Module #33 is ok..data is important....i m trying to scan for physical defect and add to glist and regenerate translator to see how it goes.

Can you open defect list PLIST-GLIST and save it as a file?

May 17th, 2007, 20:57

hddlab, Plist and Glist can be recorded and saved, but Glist have all false candidate which i dont know what it means.

Glist

Init : LBA 0

Fin : LBA 0

Num : 1

RLBA : 0

Candidate : False

That's look like you just find out your answer, Jose Pinto. Try to back up all modules, rewrite GLIST and run Regenerate Translator command.
