1Gb USB Flash drive seen as Zero bytes

May 18th, 2007, 15:45

Hi!

Any suggestions on how to get data from a USB flash drive that is picked up in XP, but as 0 bytes?

DE, GetDataBack etc cannot see the drive at all.

Cheers

Hi, thanks for reply.

However:

1. Connections are clean

2. WinHex can only see logical (and will not open "The Parameter is incorrect" and "Unsupported sector size" and |"Cannot access drive G:"
Cannot see it as physical size.

Any other ideas guys?

Cheers

It's OK, found the problem.

Opened up the stick and found some loose connection on the flash RAM chip.

Fixed them then now see data 100% :-)

Thanks anyway!
