IBM 20 GB Model # IC35L020AVER07-0

i had lost my two partitions and i used test disk and the getdata back FAT but it not properly recognizing my Hdd and give error in while scan for data i used (PC3000 ISA ) on it because the drive was making noise when i was recovering my drives but after using the (Pc3000) it is not giving error on scan for data
any suggestion

Hi,

U didn't provide any info about what U made to the drive with PC3k.
It probably had some bad sectors beforehands, but now... :roll:
If it is not giving those errors, I suppose U scanned the drive and remapped the bads, in this case it is possible U are facing the problem of shifting caused by the remap to PSHT.

I did SMRT clear and yes i did scaning too

I think i did wrong some thing in doing so coz i was in hurry now any suggestion what to do so i can recover my data from it>?

is ur drive name and capacity showing correctly in bios ?

Yes the capicity is showing correct but when i am using the test disk to recover the partition so its says error in partition and also it start make a lil noice inside (I is that can be the LDR or Module Problem? )
because when i tried to make the LDR file so it says (Unreadably the HLDR1 and HLDR2 and another i forget;

There are modules currupt in this drive chk fw structure and rewrite bad modules could u tell me the error as it is that it shows in Testdisk .

can u tell me where i can get the firmwares to download coz i dont have any correct firmware that model thanks

This is a pretty common hdd u can copy from some ok hdd .
