Requesting loader

Hi all,

i kindly would like to reqest a loader for my hard drive

Drive Details

Maxtor

maxline plus II
250GB ATA/133 HDD
MODEL 7Y250P00628R1

my drive is knocking on initialisation and a freind of mine advised me to request for a loader and use it to see if the drive may stop knocking.

once again i will appriciate your assistance

With respect, what are you going to do with the LDR?

Do you have PC3000 to implement it?

If not, you are wasting your time my friend!

OK, what firmware version is it you require?

Check HDDGURU FILES, I've uploaded full f/w and LDR for 7Y250P0 YAR41BW0

how do i load it, am not a guru in pc-3000 and i wouldnt mind some assistance.

Section 4 of PC3000 Maxtor manual contains lots of information about Maxtor firmware. :wink:

Set drive to Safe Mode.

Enter utility.

Load LDR

if U have original PC3k, U should have a good bunch of ldrs for these not-very-hard-to-find drives... I think...

I reinstalled the application yesterday. I lost all the data base, now it is not free although i'm a pc-3000 user. If you can send me, it will be so nice. If not, it is ok , np.

Since when?
Did you check your update box on acelab website?
You should also have your database on CD shipped with PC3000.
