Hello Does anyone know MDT TECHNOLOGIES its same physically like WD
This model said MD00400-BABW

But doesnt have DCM, does anyone know if its compatible with Western digial for head exchange´s or need to be MDT factory?

MDT is just refurbished WD drives, I think.

Like Nikimi were refurb Maxtor

Yes they were doing refurbish of WD hard drives, also had some web page http://www.mdt-hdd.com (thats no longer online).
You could use WD for head swap if you have the luck to find the native model of MDT. (Imho)

Hi I just got a batch of these in last week they say platinum on a plain white label?

Mine are 60-80 & 100GB but the full model shows up in pc3000 such as MDT600BB-00CA0 ect. I'd assume they are either WD rejects or seconds as the P-lists are pretty full. They are identical to the same model WD and the SA is the same so it would be a good bet the heads would be interchangeable too.

Hello Spildit , yes on refurbished Disk they kill the bad heads im get a WD3200KS (320 GB) R think R= Refurbished from january 2007 , just check head map and its only 4 heads enable it and would be 6 Heads , so on my case, MD00400-BABW if i get a donnor for 40GB same preamplifier MHA, would works, if edit the Head map to the full (2 heads) . or what can i do
