HELP REQUIRED TO RETRIVE DATA
i HAVE A WD SCORPIO 120 GB WD1200UE-22KVT0 WITH A MOTOR JAM PROBLEM. THE HDD IS NOT ABLE TO SPIN. I SWAPPED WITH A DONOR PCB MODEL WD1200UE-00KVT0 BUT THE PROBLEM REMAINS THE SAME. I HAVE CONFORMED THAT CARD IS OK. CAN ANYONE SPECIFY HOW WE CAN SOLVE THIS PROBLEM.

Check for stiction first.
More likely than motor jam.

Agree. The simplest way to make sure about this is to open the HDA cover in the clean room, and see what's going on inside.

Yep, make sure it's in a proper cleanroom. Or you can make the problem a whold lot worse!
If you're in UK, I'll do it for you.
