Lost power during repartition, did LLF now RAID pauses forev

I was using partition magic to add a partition to my drive and I lost power. In order to get the system even functional, I had to low level format both of my hard drives using Maxllf. I have a RAID 0 setup on my Dell XPS 410. Now, when I boot up it will go to the screen right after the bios where it says "Intel storage matrix ROM BIOS V. XXXXX" and it will freeze for about 3 minutes, then it will go on and show the hard drives and DVD drives installed and boots normally. The system shows the raid volume is healthy and after it is booted it seems to be completely normal. It is just very annoying that it takes so long to boot up. I wanted to get some other opinions since Dell technical support seems to think there is no problem. Could I have messed something up on my SATA drives using the LLF or could it be something on the motherboard? Any opinions are appreciated.

Hi,

Do the drives have separate active cooling?
