Maxtor loader required, thanks!

Hi all!

I need a loader for a Maxtor Sabre drive:

6B200P0

BAH41BYO

Anybody have?

why you need loader friend.
only UDMA support to load loader in maxtor Sabre.
if you dont have UDMA then you can not load loader from safe mode in MAXTOR SABRE..

HMMMM I think you got mistype. it is 6L instead of 6B

This is Sabre 1 drive, not Sabre 2.

Sure there is no support for Sabre in non-UDMA?

When put in Safe Mode, finds as Sabre and gives option to load loader.

Or am I missing something?

It is supported. But you have to start firmware first, after that run ID and code should change. Then load the overlays in reverse order.

This should work.

Thanks for suggestion, will try "IF" I can source loader. :-)

I experimented with an good 80Gb Sabre drive, I was able to create and use loader.
