I have this Maxtor HD as a replacement for a old drive.
However, this drive is only recognized as a 1,6Gb and not as a 20Gb (as it should be). I've checked the parm's and i have a huge reduction of cyl's and LBA size.
Is there any easy way to re-establish the original values ?
Firmware ?

Try to access it with mhdd and run the NHPA command ...

Been there ... done that ... no good ...
It claim's that HPA is unavailable ...
Thank's anyway, i never stated that i had attempted it before.
Do u have any other idea ?
