salam alekm i have hdd wd800bb 00fga0 it spin up good but when detecting it clicks and spin down when i change the orignal rom with other one it dosent click and seen as mammot now the question does this mean that rom ic is damaged or the preamp cant work good as it dosent park with mammot but need to park with fja0 so it clicks

you have bad head or SA, change the rom & it goes into safe mode and shows as mammoth. Swap original rom to the another board & try again.
