I thought MHT ROM's contain adaptive data, so cannot be copied from donor drive?

Am I wrong?

P.S. What's "Mike's FTP"?

Mike's FTP is a firmware resources and its User name and PWD are officially provided by ACE lab to its product holder.

Hi tonyht,

did you ever get MHT pcb swap to work ?

Some researcher took 10 MHT perfect new drives with
identical fw from same batch - not one could fire up any
of the other.

hope I save you some time.

success !

That's I thought. Each PCB seems different in some way, unlike MHS :-(

If any one else has success with MHT ROM's I would like to know also.

I have an obscure Apple OEM Fujitsu MHT with duff ROM and PCB.

I tried reading the ROM in Kernel, no joy. Transferred ROM to good PCB and no good either :-(

:D Thank for all response

I have try to transfer ROM for this burn cases several times before. some have successfully especially with MHT2060AT, some not MHT2040AH.
It's not so easy to transfer ROM with many2 legs to a new good PCB. some have a good compatibility we can successful transfer. but it's very risky.

Now I'm searching a new way to transfer ROM in the kernel mode.

If somebody know how to do it, Please share with Us.
