Hi All!

I have Maxtor 20 GB HDD(6E020L0) with corrupt firmware (N40P without firmware)
I needed new firmware, but 40 GB (6E40L0) is.

You Need To Edit This Message ,No IDea What You Are Talking About .Do You Mean To Say You Have a 40 GB 6E40l0 And You Have Bad Firmware In 20 GB ?

My HDD Maxtor 20 GB (6E20L0), but Bios detect 40 GB (N40P NAR61592Z) and write fail.
I would like update firmware software.

Hi,

This issue is not about updating FW, it needs to be repaired. This requires special tools, knowledge and experience, so I can only suggest taking it to a specialized DR company in your area. U can find people able to help U in this forum, but we need to know where are U.
