Good night, I need help for external USB HDD, it have 250 GB and I think that it have problem with sector start, because when I connect this HDD to my laptop no respond and use one software very expensive that say that the info is into the HDD it is not loss, but I dont know how I can restore this info very important for me, please I need your help and If have a software free for recovery my information very best, because i dont have credit card for buy in internet, I view various software in this page but I dont know what i need use.

Hi,
Based on the info U provided it is quite hard to tell anything for sure. I remember there were discussions about free sofware tools on this forum, but I don't know the exact topic, try searching the forum.
For me the problem is that there can be many causes of this syndrome, a good data recovery would start with a cloning of the whole drive, then a bit of analysis of FS structures. Just running programs may not give the desired results.
Furthermore if such drive with damaged sectros or file systems can get worse if windows tries to mount it.
