I need an HDD Guru. :)

But, I've got this WD2000JD-22HBC0 drive (DCM: HSCHCTJAA) that: (1) I can't find a suitable donor for, and (2) I'm concerned that I've not diagnosed it correctly.

The drive clicks at startup, doesn't fully init, and usually shuts itself off.

Also, the drive seems to spin up sorta slowly to me, but maybe I'm being overly sensitive.

Anyone here interested in taking a stab at it? How much $$$?

You can PM me, phil (at) cgallery.com. Just please use the word "hddguru.com" so get by the evil spam filter.

I'm in the U.S.
