August 15th, 2007, 4:48
yeah i've thought of the CFtoIDE ... but my place it's hard to get it

neway ... the pc i'm running on ... it's actually running on a propriety system.
which is using dual Motorola's 50mhz processor and the ide controller are using adaptec and
it have written to support chs mode - 1053 16 63 or 1024 16 63.

i've just try the MHDD with my Celeron system running on P945 chipset and i'm using a 44 pin to 40 pin converter to connect my 2.5inch Fujitsu 40gb hard drive to my pc and when i do HPA and it said fail to set HPA
please power off drive and try again. I've got the same message with my 2.5inch Maxtor 60gb hard drive.
I'm using the PTcalc ... to generate the LBA value.
