WD1200JB-75FUA0 & wd2500JB-00GBC0

Hi,
We have these two drives that both settle and come ready. Both have been confirmed with good modules in system area. But when we try to make an image of the drives they both have major problems and can only take the data off in read long mode. Has anyone seen this problem and if so is their a solution.

What kind of errors do you get when reading user area? I mean IDNF, ABRT, UNC?

did u try to check , a head test?,or maybe u have some media errors on this case, try to change settings on first, like jump sectors when found errors, try ignoring CRC , and wait retries time.

Best Regards

Read long command does exactly this.
I guess it is some kind of translator problem, after backing up the SA, try to regenerate the translator.
