What is the advantage of PC3K over tools from Salvation Data? Are there any functionlities that cannot be acheived by Salvation data and PC3K can do it. Cause the price difference is huge amongst them.

I purchased Seagate HDD Repairer to try and fix some seagates and could not do it. I emailed and they were helpful but I still could not do it. I placed these same failed Seagate disks on PC3K and repaired two out of three (I think the third had preamp failure).
Maybe if SD could give proper guides, maybe an illustrated guide to the most common faults then that would be a great help, but so far my vote goes to PC3K.
