August 22nd, 2007, 15:50

Hi Mates,
I Have a lot of 250 of these drives .All Of them have knocking problem .There are lots of mosfets on this drives .The U11 is a FDS 6961A Dual N Channel Mosfet .Ic no u10,u9,u7,u6 and u5 are all mosfets but use a fdc6561 mosfet which is 6 legged instead on 8 legged .These Mosfets Are All Installed Where The 8 legged mosfet fds6961a had to be installed .Possibly conner did not need bigger more capable mosfet in these areas .I am assuming some of the power mosfet to be bad and hoping that replacing them will make my hdd's ok .Any person having experience with these drives is welcome to respond .Does PCI 3K PCI And ISA Support These Drives .

Only Able To Use Universal Utility in PCI-3000 .this Drive Also Does Not Support HPA .Also Remap did Not Help .

Help Needed .

Whats The difference Between Remap And Assign .Remap Surely Remaps The Sector ,What Does Assign Do [ Never See This Assign Working Anyways ]
