assistance required in deciphering Terminal log

September 1st, 2007, 21:07

Hello Guys,
I am having a problem with a Baracuda 7200.7. I am having super manny bad sectors and can't get access to the data. I really don't have any experience with Seagate drives. Any help is appreciated.

Here is the return from the Terminal (I can get T prompt but can't switch to F).

Code:
              Spin Ready
8.04  12-19-05 10:47  4096k x 16 buffer
(P)(H)SATA Reset
Interface task reset

PUMA2 - 1_Disk    0.03  12-19-05 10:45
Head Mask FFFF - Switch to full int.

I am having some dificulties reading the log, I downloaded the seagate diagnostic command document but am still a bit clueless. Any additional information on Terminal commands would be great as wel.
Head Mask FFFF - Switch to full int

I asume this means Heads are OK, is this correct?
Thanks

Thanks for the quick replies.

In PC 3000 I don't get any registers, only times out with HD ID readding timeout when using ATA Mode. In Terminal mode I get a output mentioned in the above post.
DiskAccess ReadSector EC=43 at 000036.01.0391

I think I should be able to check heads from T:> (but I don't know the command).
