Seagate ST320014 PCB Swap

September 6th, 2007, 15:41

I have a Seagate ST320014A with a defective pcb and a good working drive ST310014A FW 3.09.

1. Can I swap the defective pcb with the pcb from a ST310014A modell to save my data?
2. Is it necessary to flash the firmware from ST310014A to ST320014A?
3. I have found a ST320014.bin, but how i can flash it? Which Flashutility and where can I get it?

Best Regards.
