Maxtor N40p busy state

Hi, j have a maxtor n40p which isn,t recognized in bios and in PC3000 shows busy state. j'm not solve the problem with PC3000. please help me!!! thanks in advance.

what did you already try with PC3000?

j try to load a firmware and modules,try to initialize from SA and standard mode but it say- no hdd for 15sec. initalizing error.

Check if the drive is knocking or not in this case most of the times the drive is knocking .

Hi,

I think your replacement PCB is not compatible, try swapping ROM if they both have!
