Data Recovery Equipments

September 18th, 2007, 6:34

Hi guys,

it's the first time that I write to this forum even if being an user of Pc3000 Isa I have read a lot the topics of this, and the forum AceLabs.
I have to thank people as Pepe, Starling, Dobre, Pcimage, etc (I have quoted those that I have seen more often) and in the forum AceLabs "BG" (Roberto), and again Pepe (you’re unique), Mikestor2004s... etc that sharing their know how have allowed me to understand better this complex world of the data recovery.

Well, after this premise this is my question: an engineer of a data recovery company has told me that for some cases they use a magnetic probe.... you have idea of as can be?
Has he told me besides that the best equipment for the data recovery are Israeli and that in Israel ther're some conferences with big companies of data recovery.... you can confirm it to me?

Thanks in advance…..end excuse me for my bad English

Hi Darkforce1.... thanks of the answer :good:

The cases of data recovery are mainly of restoration of the drive firmware zone, only for some brands(mainly Maxtor) and models of hdd having Pc3000Isa unfortunately :(
Cases more complex with problems about mha, motor, etc..I send the hdd to laboratory of my confidence…I don’t have clean room yet

Having heard of this magnetic probe I want only to know if someone knew it or already uses it.

Only curiosity also because I could not purchase it

Many thanks

jojo
