ST380020A extremely slow

October 18th, 2007, 8:41

Hi all,

I've got a Seagate ST380020A, FW 3.39 drive here. It spins up normally, is detected properly but when accessed, it acts extremely slow. Too slow to try a recovery or image. Is there anything to check before telling the customer it'll be quite expensive?

Scan the surface with MHDD or victoria and post screen shot here .
