MP0804H cannot be detected

Problem with external hard drive code: MP0804H, which it cannot be detected while attaching it with a USB port. Normally the drive was working fine, which means that it just a matter of plug and play kind of thing, but now its like that but the only problem is that its cannot be found with my computer (cannot be detected). also the light of the drive shown to be fine but surprisingly it cannot be detected.

any suggestions ???
