WD4000KD-00NAB0 SATA Drive
Begins to detect then as I am cloning drive in either MTL or Speedclone it slows down and comes to a stand still.
WD2000BB-00DWA0 IDE Drive DSCHCVJAA same behavior
I have PC3000PCI and if it is firmware please send to my PM or your thoughts if it maybe head stack replacement.

Most likely one of the non-system heads is weak. SA should be fine.
WD4000KD-00NAB0 is not supported by neither version of PC3000 yet.
Try head test in WD utility.
If you have Data Extractor you should try to create a headmap, see which head is bad and image by those that are good.

- Either you have wrong head map(I don't remember now how many heads this model should have)
- Or someone tried to manually edit DIR.
- Or SA was erased completely.

Hello post us here the complete report of the SA Structure u can try too MHDD to diagnostic, with the scan command, checking with Register Error show´s while´s reading sectors

dRIVE WAS HIT BY POWER SURGE SO POSSIBLY THE HEADS ARE BAD AND SHOULD BE REPLACED?
