maxtor safe mode detected

hi! i've have problem.when i check using PC3k, it not detect my hard disk. It appeared "safe mode detected". i try to solve - load in safe mode condition and try to run SA structure test. it found a few error. then i change back the jumper to master and try to run utility test again. but i won't detect.
so my question is : is there any step i need to do after i load?
i have changed PCB because i thought its PCb problem..but still not working

Hi Ariann,

You first have to correct the SA modules in safe mode before you can get the drive correctly working again.
Read the manual on how to restore SA modules and be very carefull.
Be sure to backup all modules before you change any!
