WD Marvell SA modules description

November 29th, 2007, 17:39

Hi,
does anybody knows the description for WD Marvell based chips drives SA modules?
Like for WD chips based drives module 25=translator and so on.

Especially the module nr.11. What is inside this module? I have corrupted module 11 on WD400BB-00FJA0 and i am not sure if i can use other drive's module to replace.

Thanks
Kib

Module 11h is ATA overlay
you can use it from other drive but you need to match revision

Thank you Doomer. Do you happen to have module 11 for WD400BB-00FJA0 FW 13.03G13 ? There is a revision 1350 in the header of other modules.

Thank you
Kib
