Seagate merc2 family unlock

Has anyone ever removed password from a Seagate Merc2 family?

1) read vendor track
2) find password in it

I never done that.
How can I do it?

if i dont remeber the Header on this track should be said " SEAGATE" u can check the SA MAP with the y command on terminal level David and check the location of the VENDOR TRACK after this u need to change some bytes to 01 to 00
